The ability to read labels as far away as 45 feet and as close as .25 inches gives the unit the widest working range of any rugged, handheld scanner on the market. An IP65-rated sealing for protection against the elements makes the Motorola LS35780-ER, which also withstands multiple drops onto concrete, a great choice for the yard, warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing plant and other harsh environments.

An advanced data formatting feature permits use of the Motorola LS3578-ER rugged barcode scanner without costly modifications to the host software, while batch mode operation bolsters design flexibility. The Motorola LS3578-ER rugged barcode scanner also features a bright LED and beeper with adjustable volume, ensuring complete visibility of decode feedback as well as audibility to users, even in the noisiest environments.
